PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur – The 4th batch of the Training on Organic Vegetable Production for Mothers successfully ended last October 27, 2018 at the Hygeia IntraMeds Center, in Brgy. Patin-ay this municipality.

The three-day training was attended by twenty-nine (29) mothers from the municipality of La Paz. They learned about how to prepare organic fertilizers like Oriental Herbal Nutrient (C), Fermented Fruit Juice (FFJ), Fermented Plant Juice (FPJ) and Fish Amino Acid (FAA). They were also taught how to produce organic vegetables, demonstrated proper concoction making, observed proper usage or application of organic fertilizer, conducted actual substrate mixing and familiarized the biodynamic calendar. Other activities included lectures on methodologies and practices of organic vegetable production and formulation of action plan. They were also required to establish their own organic vegetable garden in their respective backyards.
