PWDs attend symposium on organic agriculture

BISLIG CITY, Surigao del Sur – Thirty (30) Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) attended a Symposium on Organic Agriculture on October 19, 2018 at the City Organic Agri-Fishery Complex (COAFC) this city.

The purpose was to enhance and expand the knowledge and skills of PWDs on organic agriculture that may result to provision of proper nutrition through availability of fresh produce. Through this, the participants will be able to appreciate the importance of organic vegetable and livestock production, enumerate and explain the cultural management practices for vegetables and livestock production.

Lolita Sayman, Assistant City Agriculturist and Executive Manager of COAFC, was the lone speaker during the said symposium.
