BUTUAN CITY, Agusan del Norte – Twenty-one farmers in Agusan del Norte are now ready to borrow money from the government after they underwent the Financial Literacy Training conducted by the Agricultural Training Institute. The said farmers, who came from Jabonga and the cities of Butuan and Cabadbaran, learned about financial literacy and its significance to agri-enterprise development, relevant Filipino values in relation to successful agri-enterprise, agri-credit programs of DA, business cycles and how to formulate financial recordings, budgeting and cash flow statements.
“Kami magpasalamaton sa ATI sa inyong pagserbisyo kanamo, nakontento kami sa inyong pagpasabot sa amo ug among nakuha sa hapsay na pagsabot ang Financial Literacy Training nga daghan kaayo kami nakat-onan ug nadugangan ang among kaalam ug kahibalo. Kami manghinaot nga daghan pang mga training nga moabot nga pang negosyo,” said Nenive Liad, a fisherfolk from Jabonga.
The training was held at the training complex of ATI-Caraga in Brgy. Los Angeles, Butuan City last September 27-28, 2018.
