LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – In response to the ATI Memorandum regarding the institutionalization of the Agriculture and Fisheries Extension (AFE) Results-based Monitoring and Evaluation (RBME) System, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII conducted the monitoring of the center’s policies, programs, and projects through interviews of beneficiaries and Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) in the region.
This aims to determine the results of these interventions and to find out if the actual intended results were produced. The results could help the ATI’s management and implementers to better understand how these intervention works and to come up with better-informed and evidenced-based decisions for improvement and reforms.
There were 80 randomly selected respondents composed of 63 farmers and 17 AEWs who were trained in the year 2018.
The said monitoring was done by the Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Unit (PMEU) led by Nena Lomuntad, Planning Officer II. The group began on September 21, 2021 at Brgy. Mat-I, Surigao City,
