Ms. Ginalyn V. Arbutante of ATI-Caraga give IEC materials and entertains queries of the Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) from Buenavista, Agusan del Norte.
BUTUAN CITY- The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 participated in the Farm Family Forum in Butuan City. This was hosted by the Department of Agriculture Caraga Region under the Field Operations Division (FOD) which is headed by Division Chief Rebecca Atega.
This was joined by the farm families of the region comprising a father as member of the Pambansang Mannalon, Mag-uuma, Magbabaul, Magsasaka ng Pilipinas (P4MP), the mother as Rural Improvement Club (RIC) member and a child as member of the Head, Heart, Hands and Health (4H) Club.
Mr. Jason Paul Dads E. Jampac, Focal Person of the Rural-Based Organization (RBO) of ATI-Caraga served as one of the facilitators in all events conducted during the forum. Jampac also served as Juror of the contests together with Ms. Ginalyn Arbutante, Info. Officer of ATI.
Some activities were held such as Singing contest, “BOCHATANG” also known as bogie, cha-cha, tango contest, “Balak” and others.
Moreover, ATI were able to install a booth for exhibits of Information Education and Communication (IEC) materials in the venue. Reading materials were distributed to the participants. Concerns and other queries were also entertained by the assigned staff.
Regional Executive Director Abel James I. Monteagudo graced the said forum on September 5-6, 2019. With the Theme: “Pamilyang Nagkaisa Para sa Masaganang Pagsasaka”.
