LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – The schedule of Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center 13 (ATI-RTC 13) was fully packed during the 1st nine days of September specifically in terms of the conduct of training and other extension-related activities.

To name a few, last September 9, 2021, the Local Government Unit of San Isidro, Surigao del Norte headed by Honorable Mayor Lamberto E. Domiños Jr. and its Agricultural Technologist Roderick Nonoy visited the office to receive their Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) certificate. Present during the hand over were Heracleo Paler, Assistant Center Director of ATI-RTC 13 and Matt Andrew G. Baquiano, Agriculturist II.

Meanwhile, on September 6-8 was the capacity enhancement for the operations of the Composting Facilities for Biodegradable Waste (CFBW) Batch II at the Balanghay Hotel. It was participated by the LGU representatives of Agusan del Sur and Agusan del Norte.

On September 7 was the virtual Coordinators Meeting for the High Value Crop Development Program (HVCDP) participated by the provincial and city coordinators throughout the region.

Lastly on September 2, Center Director Samuel L. Calonzo awarded gardening tools, vegetable seeds and school supplies to the Los Angeles Elementary School in support to Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela 2021.
