PATIN-AY, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur- Online learners also known as the webinar series participants of the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 will get new knowledge in terms of processing various herbal medicinal plants. The said topic will be aired via “googlemeet” on August 14, 2020 as the second episode of the i-BIDA nATIn webinar series Season 3.

Moreover, ATI-RTC staff took photo and video footages on the actual processing of the three identified herbal medicinal plants which is also produced by the Foundation for the Development of Agusanons, Inc. (FDAI). The team went to FDAI at Bry. Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur on August 12, 2020.

Footages will be used and presented simultaneously by the Resource Person during the webinar so that participants can understand more on the various processes.

On the other hand, Dr. Rex Linao, Executive Director of FDAI will be back as the Resource Person. He will be discussing various steps and procedures in processing herbal plants into new products as well as its packaging.

Processes in coming up with the byproducts such as ginger liniment oil, lagundi syrup and turmeric powder will be the focus during the webinar.

Health benefits and importance of the said herbal medicinal plants will also be learned by the participants as long as they will listen attentively.
