A youth assisted his partner-farmer during the conduct of the Digital Farmers Program (DFP) 102 Pilot Test in Butuan City on July 13-14, 2021.
BRGY. LOS ANGELES, Butuan City- The Information Services Section (ISS) of the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 conducted the Digital Farmers Program (DFP) 102 as Pilot Test in Butuan City on July 13-14, 2021.
Said training was spearheaded by ISS Chief Fil Victor A. Babanto as Project Officer together with Information Officer II Ginalyn V. Arbutante. The two served as Resource Persons during the training.
DFP 102 is the second level of the training which aimed at upscaling the knowledge gained by the participants from the DFP 101 training held last year. There were 10 youth and 10 farmers who graduated from the DFP 101 attended in the pilot test.
They were taught with the Advanced Agri Apps, Advanced Social Media Marketing, Introduction to PayMaya as well as Internet Safety Tips. Participants were able to create their own QR code, PayMaya account and presented their social media content and marketing plan in the middle of the session. They were also inspired in making and presenting their Dream boards, afterward.
The two-day DFP 102 training ended smoothly with happy and satisfied hearts of the participants which can be heard through their words of gratitude expressed to the Training Management Team.
