Registered Nurse, LSA Cooperator to share tips on herbs and spices during webinar’s 5th episode

Blezel Balmocena, Registered Nurse and Learning Site for Agriculture Cooperator undergo a dry run session as a Resource Person for the webinar's 5th episode.

BANCASI, Butuan City- “Everybody loves condiments, that pushes me to venture on planting herbal plants in my own garden,” says Blezel Balmocena during the webinar’s fifth episode dry run session on July 23, 2020.

Balmocena will be the assigned Resource Person on July 24, 2020 as the fifth episode of the i-BIDA nATIn Program, webinar on vegetable gardening. She will be sharing her own experience in terms of planting herbal plants right in her own garden. In fact, her farm is a Learning Site for Agriculture certified by the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 in the previous year. She named it “Zel’s Dragon Fruit and Orchard”. She was known of producing dragon fruits for many years now.

On the other hand, medicinal herbs, culinary, ornamental and aromatic herbs will also be discussed online by Balmocena. This is along with the advantages of herbs and spices to our health.

As a Registered Nurse, Blezel knows how to be healthy inside and out, that’s why producing a chemical-free herbal plants in her own is a must.
