Municipal Agriculturist Rodulfo B. Celada warmly welcomes participants during the opening program on the first day. He encourages women to actively participate in every activity that will be conducted during the three-day training.

“We should have values and attitude towards handicraft-making, patience is very important for us to improve especially in looking for additional income. This is the answer and one way of inspiring ourselves to be more knowledgeable and skillful in making accessories that will augment our way of living.” Celada added.

Moreover, women were able to make accessories such as earrings, necklace, bracelets and anklets as their outputs. This is with the guidance of Ms. Fevarsilia Macabanding from Tandag City as a

Resource Person. Macabanding teaches participants with the basics on how to make accessories and coaches them individually on the first and second day, respectively.
