In Celebration of the 43rd National Nutrition Month, the Agricultural Training Institute- Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 joined in the Mass Feeding Program of the Agusan National High School (ANHS), Butuan City.
Teacher Falcon said that the feeding program is one of the activity for this month’s celebration with the theme “HEALTHY DIET, gawing habit FOR LIFE”.
A total of 300 students from Grades 7 and 8 served as the beneficiaries of the said program. They were fed with a nutritious and deliciously cooked rice, meat and vegetable combo meal.
As a counterpart, the institute gave a sack of rice and P3,000.00 cash for the purchase of meat and vegetables that will be served with rice.
During the program, Mr. Buenaventura C. Camilosa Jr., the Department Head of the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) expressed his profound gratitude to ATI for always been a partner to ANHS.
“I commend the full support of the ATI as one of the sponsors to our yearly mass feeding program in celebration of the national nutrition month. We hope that this partnership will continue for the welfare of the students. We’re so grateful that for the third time around they were always there, assisting our school and extending their services.” Camilosa added.
ATI Caraga staff attended in the feeding session. This was represented by Mr. Samuel L. Calonzo, TCS I, Ms. Remedios C. Amilao, AO IV and Ms. Ginalyn V. Arbutante, I.O II of the institute.
On behalf of the institute, Mr. Calonzo assures the steady and full support to the teachers and students of ANHS as part of the institute’s public service beyond boundaries.
The feeding program was held on July 21, 2017 in the Audio-Visual Room of the ANHS, Butuan City.
