FITS-ISS, ATI-RTC 13 staff hone up skills on video production

FITS center staff seriously apply their knowledge gained on how to produce a script and video during their training on video production in Butuan City from July 9-12, 2018.

ALMONT INLAND RESORT, Butuan City – With its goal to capacitate Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) specifically the Information Service Specialist (ISS) in every FITS Center in documenting success stories and in promoting programs/projects in their respective Local Government Units (LGUs), the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center 13, Information Services Section conducted the Training Course on Video Production on July 9-12, 2018 at Almont Inland Resort, Butuan City.

There were 25 FITS-ISS and two (2) ATI staff who participated in the said training. Clint O. Cañete, from NMBS, Bee TV and Bee FM served as the resource person for the topics on Basic Photography, Video Editing, Post-Production processing of footages, and Using Adobe Premier Pro. Fil Victor A. Babanto, Info Officer II and project officer, also discussed the importance of video script.

Within the 4-day training, the participants were able to present their outputs. Three individuals received special awards namely: Aikeen G. Tranquilan from Provincial Agriculture Office of Surigao del Sur– Best in Video Production, Klent Jon R. Intano from Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) of Carrascal, Surigao del Sur– 2nd Place, and Klyde Eman G. Chavez from MAO Buenavista, Agusan del Norte– 3rd Place

This is the first step of every FITS-ISS in producing a video about Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) / Success Story which will be an entry for the Best in Video Production during the Techno Gabay Program Summit to be held this coming October 2018.
