Samuel Calonzo, ATI-RTC XIII Center Director encouraged the staff to be positive towards work and personal life amidst uncertainties during the pandemic in attaining the targets in his opening message during the Midyear Management Performance Operation Review for 2021 on June 28-30, 2021.
LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – Aiming to assess and validate the 1st-semester operation from January to June and the quality of the management system, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII held its Midyear Management Performance Operations Review for FY 2021 last June 28-30, 2021.
It was participated by 20 staff of the center composed of regular, process owners, program point persons and chiefs of the five sections and units namely: Career and Development Management Services Section (CDMSS), Partnership Accreditation Services Section (PASS), Information Services Section (ISS), Planning Monitoring and Evaluation Unit (PMEU), and Administrative and Finance Unit (AFU).
Teovelita P. Rodriguez, presented the physical targets vis-à-vis accomplishments. Francis H. Iriarte, Accountant, and Aurea Janine P. Abucay, Budget Officer-designate, presented the financial reports for the different programs under regular, rice, corn, organic agriculture, high-value crops development, livestock, and Rice Enhancement Competitiveness Fund (RCEF). Workshop on the preparation of catch-up plan and scheduling of 2nd-semester programs, projects and activities then followed.
On the second day, Center Director Samuel Calonzo discussed the Mandanas Ruling and gave an overview of the bill on Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs). Heracleo A. Paler, Asst. Center Director, also explained the Provincial-led Agriculture and Fisheries Extension System (PAFES).
A review on the Quality Management System (QMS) was given by the Internal Quality Audit Team Leader Matt Andrew Baquiano on the 3rd day. Open forum and issues and concerns were also done.
The said activity was spearheaded by the PMEU led by Nena L. Lomuntad, Planning Officer II.
