Focal Persons of the four banner programs from Regional Training Centers of ATI present their accomplishments from January-June, 2019 during the assessment.
DUMAGUETE CITY, Negros Oriental – The Agricultural Training Institute as the focal agency in extension service delivery is obliged to make sure that the delivery of quality extension services has been strategically carried out in the field. By so doing, the program implementation and extension intervention has to be assessed every semester in accordance with the work and financial plan and commitments of the Regional Training Centers (RTCs) for 2019.
Through this, the four banner programs (OA, HVCDP, Rice and Corn) of the ATI joined its FY 2019 First Semestral Physical and Financial Assessment at Hotel Essencia, Dumaguete, Negros Oriental on June 17-21, 2019. The activity aims to evaluate the implementation of the banner programs in terms of the physical and financial accomplishment for the 1st semester 2019 as compared with the targets.
Process flow on planning and budgeting, monitoring and evaluation guidelines was discussed by the Personnel from Planning Division. On the other hand, ATI proposed budget for 2020 and FY 2019 1st Semester Financial Performance was discussed by the Admin and Finance staff from ATI Central Office.
The stakeholders also underwent teambuilding activities in order to enhance the camaraderie of the group. Team corn got first place, second place by OA team, third place was the Rice team and HVCDP team got the fourth place, staff from Admin Finance and Planning Division served as the Panel of Judges during the activity.
