LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – Following the success of the i-BIDA nATIn Webinar on Concoction Series Season 1, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII launched its Season 2 Series on Vegetable Gardening with its first episode dubbed as “Bet na Bet sa Cucurbits” on June 26, 2020.
Ruben Ragas, Magsasaka Siyentista (MS) of the Farmers Information Technology Services (FITS) Center of Cabadbaran City and a Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) Cooperator, served as the resource person. He is also the owner of Ragas Farm located in Barangay Sanghan, Cabadbaran City.
The online learning reached its peak with 106 participants from within and outside of the country. Partakers came from various fields such as teachers, farmers, businessmen, students, Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs), and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
There will be five episodes of the webinar. Episode two is set on July 3 and is titled, “Delicious Solanaceous”. Episode three on July 10 is “Mga Himos nga Cruciferous”, episode four on July 17 is “Gasto Menos sa Indigenous Vegetables,” and the final episode on July 24 is “Herbal na, Spicy pa: Herbs and Spices.”
