Last May 12, 2021, Center Director Samuel Calonzo met with Mayor Richelle Romarate of Tubod, Surigao del Norte to explain the various ATI activities and programs and to propose for possible partnership with the LGU of Tubod.
SURIGAO DEL NORTE, Caraga Region – The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13, represented by Center Director Samuel L. Calonzo, visited the Local Government Unit of Alegria and Tubod, Surigao del Norte last May 12, 2021 for possible partnership in the advancement of agricultural development in their municipalities.
CD Calonzo mentioned the activities and training services under the different programs like rice, corn, organic agriculture, livestock, high-value crops development, gender and development, and the Rice Competitive Enhancement Fund (RCEF).
He has also cited farms that were certified as Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSAs) that showcase different farm technologies and strategies that other farmers can emulate.
