LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – In response to the call of the Department of Agriculture – Strategic Communications Office led by Assistant Secretary cum Department Spokesperson Noel Reyes, select staff of Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII joined the half-day Powerpoint Webinar on April 16, 2021 via Cisco Webex meeting.

The said activity was attended by Ressell Angelie Fetalsana, Information Officer II, and Maria Den Parro, Agriculturist I, of the ATI-RTC XIII Information Services Section.

The activity started with a welcome message from Asec. Reyes to the hundred-plus participants who were representatives from the different line agencies and bureaus under the Department of Agriculture which included the central and regional offices.

He also gave a brief discussion on the Department’s 8 paradigms to level-up agriculture and One DA’s 12 key strategies. He also discussed the basics of PowerPoint presentation preparation and the important items to be included such as the One DA logo which promotes the harmonized programs and activities of the offices under the Department.

Further, the Office of Strategic Communication is tasked to plan, execute, and assess comprehensive and proactive communication strategies for the agri-fishery sector through the integration of the Department’s key information, education and communications responsibilities employing traditional media, web and social media channels.
