Paguntalan Farm launch FITS Kiosk in Loreto, ADS

LORETO, Agusan del Sur- The Paguntalan Farm recently launched its Farmers’ Information and Technology Services (FITS) Kiosk in Brgy. Sto. Tomas, Loreto, Agusan del Sur on June 17, 2021.
Said Farm is a certified Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) of the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13. This is owned by Gloria Paguntalan as LSA Cooperator of the Institute.

Moreover, Paguntalan Farm FITS Kiosk is closely coordinated and supported by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Loreto, ADS through its Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO). The said FITS Kiosk also served as an offshoot of the LGU-Loreto FITS Center located at the MAO.

The launching ceremony was attended by the LGU personnel specifically from the MAO. Loreto FITS Center’s Information Service Specialist (ISS) Dolores Bacsarpa facilitated the said activity. On the other hand, ATI-RTC 13 personnel headed by Fil Victor A. Babanto, Information Officer III together with Ginalyn V. Arbutante, Information Officer II also joined in the said launching with the turn-over of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) equipment.

The establishment of FITS Kiosk is under the Techno Gabay Program which aimed at serving the farmers and fisherfolk. This is through an accessible Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials as well as ICT right at their doorstep.
