Staff answers CD Calonzo’s call to support Plant, Plant, Plant Program

ATI staff eagerly cleans and prepares their group garden to be showcased inside the Center which will present creative and fun ways individuals can replicate in their homes on June 18, 2020.

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – During the opening program of the one-day Seminar on Vegetable Gardening held on June 18, 2020, Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII Center Director Samuel L. Calonzo encouraged all the ATI staff to support the thrust of the Plant, Plant, Plant Program under the Department of Agriculture (DA).

Further, CD Calonzo emphasized that each staff has a role to play in fulfilling the duty as agricultural extension workers despite the limitations brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.

As a result, ATI employees prepared their soon-to-be gardens inspired by creative crafts and carefully planned ideas that would catch the attention of visitors. Gardens to be established are square-foot gardening, containerized gardening, vertical gardening, agritechture, indigenous, and plastic container gardening.
