RCEF team monitors rice-based LSA in Prosperidad

PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur – To monitor the progress of the projects and interventions provided to rice-based Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA), the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) team of ATI-Regional Training Center 13 visited Roger Villegas Farm/Farmers Alternative for Self-Reliance Multi-Purpose Cooperative (FASRMCO) last June 18, 2020.

Roger Villegas Farm/FASRMCO, a certified rice-based LSA located in Barangay San Vicente, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur is a recipient of financial support for the establishment of training facility funded under RCEF.

The RCEF team was led by Ms. Violeta T. Laguna, OIC Chief of the Career Development and Management Services Section with Ms. Rejane M. Ata, RCEF-Technical Staff. Based on the monitoring, the team noted that FASRMCO still needs additional funding assistance for training hall improvement and additional training equipment and recommended for allocation this year.

Roger Villegas Farm/FASRMCO is also a service provider of Modified Farmers Field School funded by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) under the RCEF-Rice Extension Services Program after its certification as rice-based LSA under RCEF.
