MASAO, Butuan City – With its goal to inspire and capacitate women, the Agricultural Training Institute- Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII in partnership with the Bureau of Fisheries and Agricultural Resources (BFAR) Caraga, led the Bangus Deboning Demonstration on June 15, 2020.
Ms. Maricel Maturan and Mr. Paterno Silla Jr. from BFAR 13 were the resource persons during the one-day activity. Further, it was attended by more than 30 Gender – Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) Subcommittee Regional members’ representatives such as the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), Technical education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Agrarian Reform Office (DARRO) and others.
ATI sponsored for the provision of mosquito forceps and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as training kits.
Said activity was originally planned before the Covid-19 pandemic and that WEE members pursued to conduct it. Hence, online via zoom application was used.
