ATI Caraga staff explain the flow of the webinar and the possible role of Mr. Ruben Ragas during the first episode on June 26, 2020.
CABADBARAN CITY- Two staff from the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 visited the vegetable farm of Ruben Ragas in Brgy. Sanghan, Cabadbaran City on June 15, 2020.
Ms. Mary Jane Gonzaga, who now holds the High Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP) briefed Mr. Ragas on the possible situation during the Webinar on Vegetable Gardening. Ragas will be the resource person on the 1st episode of the said Webinar. This will cover the production management of the cucurbit vegetables.
The Webinar on Vegetable Gardening will be airing soon via google meet starting June 26-July 24, 2020 at 9:00 o'clock to 10:00 o'clock in the morning every Friday. With five episodes covering Cucurbit, Solanaceous, Cruciferous and Indigenous vegetables as well as Herbs and Spices.
This will be participated by various interested stakeholders within or outside Caraga through a registration link provided in Facebook Page of ATI Caraga Region.
Mr. Ragas is one of the Learning Site Cooperators of the ATI-Caraga and served as a Magsasaka Siyentista (MS) of the Farmers’ Information and Technology Services (FITS) Center in Cabadbaran City. Ms. Gonzaga and Mr. Abonitalla documented their farm visit and meeting on the said date.
The Partnership and Accreditation Services Section (PASS) of the ATI-Caraga will spearhead the said Webinar with the supervision of Center Director Samuel L. Calonzo and Asst. Center Director Heracleo A. Paler.
