RTC 13 ManComm to lead Seminar on Vegetable Gardening

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – In preparation for the establishment of gardens featuring unique and creative techniques one could do, the Management Committee of Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII will spearhead the conduct of a one-day Seminar on Vegetable Gardening on June 18, 2020 at the Center.

This will be participated by all ATI staff who were grouped into six and assigned to showcase different types of gardening such as square-foot gardening, containerized gardening, vertical gardening, agritechture, indigenous, and plastic container gardening.

Heracleo A. Paler, Acting Assistant Center Director, will discuss the following topics: Benefits of Vegetable Gardening, Land Soil Preparation, Basis Plant Needs, and Cultural Management Practices for Vegetables.

Participants will then proceed to area preparation and cleaning by group after the lecture.

Center Director Samuel Calonzo and Mr. Paler are the technical advisers of this activity while Paula Mae Creencia, Development Management Officer II, acts as the project officer.
