LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – As one of the primary movers of urban gardening promotion mandated by the government especially on this time of Covid-19 pandemic, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII will showcase six creative ways of vegetable gardening to be displayed in its premises.
These techniques are: square-foot gardening, containerized gardening, vertical gardening, agritechture, indigenous, and plastic container gardening.
During its staff meeting last June 2, 2020, employees were divided into six groups and were assigned in different areas to be developed by the group.
This activity is strongly supported by the Center’s management committee to let the people living in urban or rural areas with big or small spaces that planting food can be done at home and anywhere with resourcefulness and having the right attitude especially in this time of crisis where food sustainability and availability is needed most.
