LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – In a few weeks’ time Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) from all over Caraga region will troop to the training complex of the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center 13 (ATI-Caraga) to attend the Training of Trainers on the Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) for Cacao Production.

Because of strict health protocol, only 15 AEWs are expected to attend the training which is scheduled on June 23-25, 2021. They will undergo lectures on 17 modules plus field visits and workshops. In this way, they will be able to gain knowledge and skills on GAP for Cacao production and prepare them to train farmers in their respective Local Government Units (LGUs).
