BRGY. LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – The Cebuano morning show “Pamahaw Espesyal” of ABS-CBN North Mindanao has featured last June 4, 2020 ATI-Caraga’s “Garden Mo, i-BIDA Mo” vlogging contest which the Center launched last week via Facebook. The trio of Bernie Bitoktok, Rod Bolivar and Maria Sweet interviewed Samuel Calonzo, Center Director of ATI-Caraga.

During the interview, Director Calonzo said that through this program it will encourage the youth to venture in agriculture since Filipino farmers are now aging and a new breed of tillers need to take over to ensure food availability and security in the country.

The program also mentioned the mechanics of the vlogging contest which are:
1. Entries must feature the participant’s own household garden.
2. Entries must be 2-3 minutes in length only. It can be in Bisaya, Tagalog or English.
3. Open to all residents of Caraga Region only.
4. Entries must capture the participant’s experience in developing his/her household garden. The garden may include vegetables, free-range chicken, backyard swine projects, etc.
5. The participant may take the video in solo or with his/her family.
6. Must be their own video (footages) and garden to avoid disqualifications.
7. Participants must LIKE and SHARE the ATI Caraga Region Facebook page and INVITE their friends to also LIKE.
8. The following prizes are at stake:
Major Prize: Top 3 Winners – Brand New android phone worth Php 10,000.00
Minor Prize: Gardening Starter Kits worth Php 5,000.00
Consolation Prize: Php 5,000.00 cell card.
9. Entries must not contain offensive words, profanity, religious or cultural intolerance, racism, discrimination, and/or illegal act.
10. Criteria for judging are as follows:
Content - 35%
Creativity - 30%
Video Quality - 20%
No. of Likes, Shares, and views - 15%
