TANDAG CITY- The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 launched the School-on-the-Air (SOA) program on Organic Agriculture Production in Surigao del Sur on May 26, 2021.
This is in coordination with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Surigao del Sur through the Provincial Agriculture Office of the said province headed by Provincial Agriculturist Marcos M. Quico.
Fritzieh Trujillo served as anchorperson of the weekly program. He also served as the Provincial SOA Coordinator in Surigao del Sur.
Moreover, there will be 600 enrollees comprising farmer, agricultural extension workers, students and other stakeholders are expected to listen every Wednesday at 5:00 o’clock-6:00 o’clock in the morning. This will be aired via DXBP Sure FM radio station based in Tandag City. This will be airing for four months starting May 26, 2021 to August 2021.
This SOA program aims to intensify the promotion of Organic Agriculture Production in the province of Surigao del Sur through the use of radio and online platform as communication media.
