BRGY. LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – Responding to the call of times to social distance and to stay home, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 13 will be coming up with a webinar series called Internet-Based Intervention for the Development of Agriculture Ng ATI Ngayon in short, i-BIDA nATIn. This program uses the online learning platform to discuss matters about agriculture particularly on urban gardening and organic agriculture which are the most relevant topics at present. The online lectures and demonstrations will be available via social media and video conferencing platform.
Online learners who opt to receive a certificate need to register online (https://tinyurl.com/Webinar-on-Concoctions) and join the lecture-demonstration via google meet for a more interactive, cam-to-cam experience since online learners can participate by raising questions anytime during the live discussion. Questions will then be responded by the speaker in real-time.
The dry run, which took place last May 15, 2020, was conducted to ensure the smooth flow and success of the first episode slated on Friday, May 22, 2020 from 9:00 to 10:00 in the morning. Engr. Matt Andrew Baquiano, an assessor on Organic Agriculture Production from ATI-Caraga, will act as a resource speaker during the first episode and will discuss concoctions like Fermented Plant Juice (FPJ), Fermented Fruit Juice (FFJ), and Oriental Herbal Nutrient (OHN). Fil Victor Babanto, head of the Information Services Section (ISS), will act as an administrator during the live broadcast.
