The hands-on activities include stimulation of the boar and semen collection, extending semen motility by adding semen extender, and handling sows in the actual field during AI.
“Artificial Insemination is a valuable technology to help the backyard growers and farmers most especially in far-away barangays where service boars are limited. Training like this is essential in addressing those challenges. I hope that there will be more trainings that will involve the young people for them to appreciate agriculture more,” said AT Edwin Johnlie Dalaguit.
Recognizing its active support in this e-Learning Blended Course, OPAg SDS also received ICT equipment during the event.
