Pyramid building using plastic cups and rubber bands were among the team-building activities performed by the participants during the Capability Enhancement for 4-H and RBO Focal Persons in Basco, Batanes.
BASCO, Batanes – Regional focal persons of Rural Based Organization (RBO) and 4-H Club joined the Capability Enhancement for 4-H and RBO Focal Persons sponsored by the Partnership and Accreditation Division (PAD) of the Agricultural Training Institute – Central Office (ATI-CO) last April 22-26, 2019.
The said activity served as a venue to retool the participants about 4-H and RBO as well as to gear up their skills and competitiveness in effective and efficient deliverance of extension services for their partner clientele.
Aside from lectures, there were also team-building activities, workshops, open forum, sharing of experience, farm tours, and environmental appreciation to balance the weeklong training and facilitate better learning of the participants.
Among the subject matters delivered by the resource persons were: Facilitation and Writing Skills by Rene Nanit of Tarlac State University and Organizational Management by Ruben Balane of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines. There was also an updating and consultative meeting which was presided by Dr. Josephine K. Aben of PAD in ATI-CO.
Twenty-three (23) regional RBO and 4-H focal persons joined the said training.
