BUTUAN CITY,-The School-on-the-Air (SOA) Program on Corn Production will be implemented in Agusan del Norte this year. This will be aired for four months starting May-August. Around 500 enrollees will be invited to participate in the program. There will be 16 episodes airing solely on the lessons focused on corn production.

These are among the topics discussed during the meeting with Provincial Corn Coordinator Michael Velasco on March 18, 2021.

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Agusan del Norte showed their support to various programs of the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 since then.

This time, on behalf of Provincial Agriculturist Alvin Aclan, Provincial SOA Coordinator Velasco accepted the challenge in conducting the said SOA program with full efforts from different municipalities and cities in the province.

Moreover, Fil Victor Babanto and Ginalyn Arbutante of ATI-Caraga together with Velasco agreed the target date of briefing. This will be on April 8, 2021 to be conducted here at Golden Tara Hall, ATI-Caraga, Brgy. Los Angeles, Butuan City.

Further details will be discussed during the briefing in April with the presence of the Municipal Agriculturists and Corn Coordinators.
