TANDAG CITY- The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 coordinated with the Office of the Provincial Agriculturists in Surigao del Sur on March 12, 2021.
Provincial Agriculturist Marcos M. Quico assured his full support to the School-on-the-Air (SOA) Program on Organic Agriculture (OA) to be implemented in the province.
Farmcaster and Provincial SOA Coordinator Fritzieh Trujillo attended in the coordination meeting with the ATI-Caraga staff headed by Fil Victor A. Babanto. SOA on OA Focal Person Ginalyn V. Arbutante also joined in.
The SOA on OA is set to air in May to April this year with 600 target enrollees comprising farmers, fishers, students, agricultural extension workers (AEWs) and other stakeholders.
Farmcaster Trujillo would serve as Program Host during its implementation phase. The Schedule of the briefing will be on April 7, 2021. This will be participated by the Municipal Agriculturists and OA Coordinator from the different municipalities and cities in Surigao del Sur. In here, target enrollees per locality will be defined along with their respective roles and responsibilities.
The said SOA is funded under the Organic Agriculture Program of the ATI-RTC 13 which will run for four months this year.
