LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – As part of the regular monitoring on the status of the grantees of the Educational Assistance for the Youth in Agriculture (EAsY Agri), the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center 13 conducted the virtual meet and greet gathering last March 19, 2021.
This has been organized by the Scholarship Point Person Mary Grace B. Salve and alternate Point Person Paula Mae A. Creencia to check on the activities of the grantees, aside from its agreed submission of written monthly updates.
One of the highlights of the activity was the election of regional officers. The officers are as follows: Rolyn Jay G. Aca-ac, President; Chivy Soliman, Vice President; Kristine Grace P. Odvina, Secretary; Cherry Ann Talictic, Treasurer; and Lovely A. Reyes, PIO.
These officers will then assist the point person in updating the grantees' performances and in formulating learning activities and experience-sharing among the scholars in the upcoming sessions.
The activity also served as the venue for the submission of the monthly report of the grantees. The grantees proudly shared their collaborative effort of coming up with a video as their official entry to the Youth Vlogging contest of the Department of Agriculture. The video which depicts their vital engagement in promoting agriculture was developed and created despite their physical distance from each other.
The group agreed to regularly hold the virtual “kumustahan” twice a month.
