Cabadbaran-Taguibo River Irrigation System (CABTRIS) members show interest in the Agri-credit program of DA-ACPC during the Financial Literacy Training on March-15, 2019.
LOS ANGELES, Butuan City- The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 conducted a 3-day Training on Financial Literacy from March 13-15, 2019.
A total of thirty (30) participants comprising farmers from Cabadbaran City, Taguibo, Los Angeles and Sto. Niño, Butuan City participated in the said training.
These farmers are members of the Cabadbaran-Taguibo River Irrigation System (CABTRIS) Irrigators’ Association in Agusan del Norte.
This is in cooperation with the Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Credit Policy Council (DA-ACPC) represented by Division Chief Alvin Cabato.
Guidelines, features and other requirements of several credit programs offered by the ACPC highlights the training.
Farm planning and farm record-keeping are some of the topics that were taught to the farmers. Mr. Cabato answered questions from the participants regarding Agri-Credit Program. Its’ requirements and benefits.
Moreover, Ms. Violeta T. Laguna, Training Specialist II of ATI-Caraga discussed Values Education and Transformation. She encouraged and enlightened participants on the importance of individual character and attitude.
Said training was held at the ATI-Caraga, Los Angeles, Butuan City with Ms. Laguna as Project Officer.
