Ms. Jovanne S. Dela Cuadra 4H/RBO National Focal Person leads the discussion during breakout session
Diliman, Quezon City - To ensure sound implementation of the projects and programs for the 4-H Club and Rural-based Organizations (RBO), ATI Central Office conducted the National Consultation and Planning Workshop with the RBO regional program focal persons from the different Regional Training Centers (RTCs) last February 11-14, 2019.
Ms. Jovanne dela Cuadra, RBO National Focal Person presented the programs and activities set for CY 2019, while targets at the regional level were presented by the respective regional focal persons. Ms. Josephine Aben, discussed the revised guidelines of Young Filipino Farmer Leader Training Program (YFFLTP) in Japan. She also emphasized the importance of submitting an updated master list of members of various organizations under RBO. Non-submission of which would mean no attendance to scheduled national convention and other related activities.
The activity also included lectures on the following topics: Organization’s Registration Procedures which was discussed by Ms. Mary Grace Terrado of the Securities and Exchange Commission; Organization’s Livelihood Training by Ms. Aurora Halcon of the Department of Labor and Employment; and, opening and transfer of accounts by Ms. Melanie Mindanao of the Landbank of the Philippines.
During breakout sessions, the participants were grouped by organization for the crafting of plans and programs for the RBO for the succeeding years.
Caraga region was represented by Ms. Mary Jane A. Gonzaga, DMO I/4H Regional Focal Person and Ms. Isabelita L. Ocampo, Supervising Agriculturist-DA RFO 13/Farm Home Extensionist Association of the Philippines (HEXAP) National Vice President.
