ATI Information Services Section (ISS) Team coordinates with Mr. Marcos Quico, Provincial Agriculturist of SDS and his staff on February 26, 2019 in Tandag City.
BUTUAN CITY –The Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 will launch three (3) School on-the-Air programs in the three Provinces of Caraga region in April 2019.
It aimed to intensify the promotion of different farm commodities through the use of radio as a communication medium.
Coordination meetings were done last February 26-28, 2019 to the Provincial Veterinary Office of Agusan del Norte and the Provincial Agriculture Offices of Agusan del Sur and Surigao del Sur. This is to determine the specific commodity information sought by majority of farmers.
Through this, the provinces agreed to launch the SOA programs in the following dates:
April 2, 2019 – SOA program on Cacao Production in Surigao del Sur
April 3, 2019 – SOA program on Cassava Production in Agusan del Sur
April 5, 2019 – SOA program on Swine Production in Agusan del Norte
