ATI-Caraga turned-over ICT equipment to FITS Kiosk

Violeta Alegado receives Information and Communications Technology (ICT) equipment from ATI-Caraga as support to the newly-established Farmers' Information and Technology Services (FITS) Kiosk of Alegado Farm on March 5, 2021.

BUENAVISTA, Agusan del Norte-The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 turned-over the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) equipment to Magsasaka Siyentista (MS) Violeta Alegado.

Mr. Fil Victor A. Babanto, Chief of the Information Services Section (ISS) of (ATI-RTC) 13 handed a desktop computer set and printer to Alegado. The ICT equipment is in support to the establishment of the Farm FITS Kiosk

The turned-over ceremony was simultaneously conducted with the launching of the Farmers’ Information and Technology Services (FITS) Kiosk of Alegado Farm on March 5, 2021. The said farm is located at Brgy. Agong-ong, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte.

Moreover, the establishment of FITS Kiosk is under the Techno Gabay Program (TGP) of the ATI in which serving farmers and fishers, students and various stakeholders is the primary concern of the program. This is through an easy access on the updated agricultural information and technologies right at their doorstep.

Alegado Farm FITS Kiosk is now open for visitors to learn more about farming. Agriculture enthusiasts specifically from Buenavista, Agusan del Norte may now visit and learn through the assistance of the Farm owner, Violeta Alegado.

The turn-over ceremony was participated by the personnel and staff of the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) of Buenavista headed by Municipal Agriculturist (MA) Gertrulyn B. Natonton. This was also joined by the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 staff Fil Victor Babanto, Information Officer III together with Ginalyn V. Arbutante, Information Officer II of the institute.
