Info Officers produce more Agri radio plugs

GV Arbutante of ATI-Caraga and Stella Asuncion of PVO-SDN cast the production of radio plugs last February 26-28, 2019.

BUTUAN CITY- More than twenty (20) radio plugs were produced by the Information Officers from Line Agencies of the Department of Agriculture during the Radio Broadcast Messaging Harmonization Workshop held at Hotel Luciana, San Jose St., Butuan City on February 26- 28, 2019.

According to Mr. Aurell Arais, Public Relations Officer II of DA-Caraga, this will be a big help to the public as information awareness on the projects and programs offered by the Department of Agriculture.

“These plugs will be used and aired over Hope Radio Station in the program ‘Bahandi sa Kaumahan’ every Monday at 8-9 o’clock in the morning.” Arais added.

The agencies, regional and provincial offices who participated in the workshop are the following: Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13, Philippine Rice Research Institute-Agusan Experiment Station (PhilRice-Agusan), National Irrigation Administration (NIA), Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Philippine Fiber Industry and Development Authority (PhilFIDA), Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), Philippine Crop Insurance Council (PCIC), National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS), Provincial Agriculture and Veterinary Offices of Surigao del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Agusan del Sur and Agusan del Norte as well as the City Agriculture Office of Bislig, SDS.
