Processors, agripreneurs to undergo training on chocolate making

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – The Cacao Caraga Organization, Inc. (CaCaO,Inc.) with the Philippine Cacao Industry Council (PCIC) through its Founding Chairman/President Christopher H. Lindo collaborate with the Agricultural Training Institute- Regional Training Institute 13 in promoting the importance of cacao value-adding.

With the growing market opportunities for chocolate and chocolate-based products, training on Chocolate Making will be conducted on February 21 – 22, 2020 at the ATI Training Hall, Los Angeles, Butuan City.

The training will not only spread the importance of bean-to-bar chocolate. More importantly, it will enhance the knowledge and skills of the existing tablea processors and interested agripreneurs on the actual processing of cacao beans into chocolates.

Value-adding will not only ensure additional income for farmers, it will also create employment opportunities that will contribute to the country’s economic development.
