LOS ANGELES, Butuan City - In support to the “Plant, Plant, Plant Program of the Department of Agriculture, the Agricultural Training Institute- Regional Training Center 13 (ATI-RTC 13) encouraged the grantees of educational scholarship grants to establish their own vegetable gardening project.
This has been agreed during the Educational Assistance for the Youth in Agriculture (EAsY Agri) Semestral Assessment for the First Semester SY 2020 -2021 which was conducted last February 10, 2021 at the ATI center.
The ATI through the High-Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP) Point Person Mary Jane A. Gonzaga provided the grantees with various vegetable seeds and pots as starter kits for the said project which will commence within this month. They are required to document and submit the progress of their project through the Scholarship Point Person Mary Grace B. Salve.
Aside from vegetable kits, the grantees also received processing kits, advocacy hats, and shirts and ICT and communication support.
