LOS ANGELES, Butuan City- The Agricultural Training Institute- Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 currently celebrated the 32nd anniversary on January 29. 2019. This was simultaneously commemorated by the whole network of ATI training centers.

This is along with a theme “Sustaining Vibrant Agricultural Productivity through Harmonized and Proactive Extension Services”.

Several activities have been lined up in Caraga as part of the celebration. To start the day right, Pastor Ronel Abendanio from the Shepherds Community in Butuan City was invited for an ecumenical prayer. This is a way of praising and thanking our Almighty Father for all the blessings He had showered to the Institute through ATI staff to continually serve the farmers as our target citizen-customers.

Pastor Abendanio reminded ATI staff to incessantly change for good. “For us not to be ‘HANG’, we need ‘Christ Encounter’ to achieve the positive ‘CHANGE’ based on the vision of the Institute and you as public servants,” he added.

The awarding and oath-taking ceremonies highlighted the program. There were three (3) recognized loyalty awardees who served in the government for more than 15 years. They were Ms. Jocelyn A. Bayona, Ms. Violeta T. Laguna and Mr. Allan B. Andig. They received plaques of recognition and certificates, and other incentives.

Moreover, the newly-promoted personnel were Mr. Fil Victor A. Babanto as Information Officer III and Mr. Matt Andrew G. Baquiano as Agriculturist II.

On the other hand, Mr. Jason Paul Dads E. Jampac and Ms. Mary Grace B. Salve were the newly-appointed Media Production Specialists II of ATI Caraga.

In the afternoon all staff and personnel went to Los Angeles Elementary School for a feeding program participated with the grade schools.

Those are some of the lined-up activities of ATI-Caraga in celebration of ATI’s 32 years of existence serving people.

Said celebration was actively held in ATI-RTC 13 Training Hall based at Los Angeles, Butuan City.
