Educational Assistance for the Youth in Agriculture (EAsY Agri)

Definition of EAsY Agri Scholarship

Educational Assistance for the Youth in Agriculture (EAsY Agri) is A college scholarship grant in support of the children of smallholder farmers and fishers to pursue a Degree Program in the field of agriculture and other related courses.

Target Beneficiaries

The Youth, who are children of smallholder farmers and fishers and are incoming first year students.

Degree Courses Covered

 BS Agriculture
 BS Agribusiness
 BS Fisheries
 BS Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering
 Forestry and Natural Resources Courses
 Environmental Science Courses
 Other Agri-related courses including Veterinary Medicine

Eligibility Criteria

1. A Filipino citizen;
2. Not more than 30 years old at the time of application to the scholarship
3. A son or daughter of a farmer or fisher, whose parents are registered/ has applied for the RSBSA, with annual gross income of not more than Php 120,000;
4. Senior High School graduate who is willing to pursue a college degree in agriculture, fisheries or any agri-related course;
5. An incoming first year college student, who passed the entrance/ qualifying examination of his/her preferred school;
6. Physically and mentally fit (including the differently-abled who is capable of performing the duties and responsibilities of a scholar)
7. Must not be a delinquent scholar of a previous scholarship
8. Must have no pending case
9. Must not be related by consanguinity or affinity within the 2nd degree to any ATI employee

Documentary Requirements

1. Certification from MAO as a son/daughter of a farmer/fisherfolk, with RSBSA registration or copy of application
2. PSA copy of birth certificate
3. Senior High School Report Card (Form 138), diploma
4. Latest BIR-Income Tax Return of the parents/ guardian or Tax Exemption Certification or Certificate of Indigency issued by the Barangay Captain;
5. Certification of good moral character or Police Clearance
6. Certification of good health and mental fitness with x-ray and negative drug test result
7. Proof of admission in a local University/ College
8. Notarized Affidavit of non-delinquency in any previous scholarship, and No relation with an ATI employee
9. Accomplished Scholarship Application Form with a 2” x 2” colored picture

Interested applicants shall submit the accomplished Scholarship Application Form (Annex 2) along with all the documents in the Checklist of Requirements (Annex 3), except for the Certification of good health and mental fitness and copy of High School diploma which shall only be submitted when the applicant qualifies in the shortlist addressed to:
