Proper Packaging and Labelling: the Silent Salesman, LS Owners told

Ms. Brillantes doing her presentation

EL SALVADOR CITY, Misamis Oriental – A properly packaged and labelled product is referred to as the Silent Salesman. This was emphasized by Ms. Loraine C. Brillantes, the Resource Speaker from the Department of Trade and Industry. She told the participants that when your products are already in the shelf, you cannot explain to everyone who examines your product on its qualities. Let the label speak for itself. And to do that, labels must contain pertinent information needed by the consumers. Also, it must be attractive so that the consumer picks it and not its competition. Proper packaging on the other hand not only makes the product attractive but also extends shelf life. The brand on the other hand differentiates your product from others.
The seminar which was conducted in the afternoon of January 29, 2019 was participated by mostly Learning Site partners who are already into processing. They brought with them their products which they displayed as part of the 32nd Anniversary Celebration of ATI. . The seminar was designed for them so that they would be more conscious on the importance of proper packaging, labelling, and branding especially as some of them already sell in Institutional markets.
The Seminar is part of the 32nd Anniversary Celebration of ATI held at ATI-RTC X, El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental.
