ATI Compound, El Salvador City---Fresh from undergoing a gruelling ISO certification in a special audit activity of the center by TUV-SUD Philippines just this January 11, the center through OIC-Center Director Maria Lydia A. Echavez welcomed and expresses full support to newly appointed Director IV Alfredo S. Aton.
Under his term, Aton aims to steer the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in reaching out down to the grassroots level consistent with DA Secretary Emmanuel F. Piñol’s directive.
A native of North Cotabato, Aton worked for 21 years in the provincial governor’s office. He started as accounting clerk before rising to the ranks as financial examiner and management and audit analyst. In 2016, he became the deputy director of the ATI.
Director Aton will set the tone for the next few years as the ATI turns an institute older but stronger under his leadership. (with reports from Erika Z. Vizcarra, Information Officer II)
