METRO Cagayan de Oro City---The Northern Mindanao Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development (NOMCAARRD) recently gathered and convened with its cluster group composing of researchers, member of the academe, extension practitioners and various local counterparts to create a website where it will serve as an online portal to its end users and online clients in terms of knowledge management and knowledge sharing.
NOMCAARD, as a research consortium, aims to evaluate researches conducted by the different member agencies; to promote interaction between and among researchers, extension workers, the local government units and other clienteles; to provide a venue for the discussion of the state of the art research and development activities in the region; to foster regional collaboration and information among member agencies; to establish future direction in research and development in Agriculture, Fisheries Natural Resources and Environment (AFNRE) and to provide a venue where Science and Technology Based-Farm (STBF) project results are presented.
For the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center X’s part, the center will provide support in terms of documentation, coverage of the progress of the website development project and content development.
Knowledge Management (KM) Cluster coordinator Dr. Lucerne M. Razalo of the Central Mindanao University presided the recently concluded 3rd Quarter KM Cluster Meeting held at the De Luxe Hotel in Cogon, Cagayan de Oro City.
