ISO Focal Person Athena Baguisi and IQA Team Leader narrated to the participants how ATI started its journey to ISO. She also explained the importance of Internal Quality Audit (IQA) and emphasized how it vanguards the ISO implementation.
ATI-RTC X, El Salvador City---The management and staff of the center convenes for a two-day Technical Guidance on the Establishing ISO 9001:2015 Standard with Risk Assessment Plan and Quality Objectives Formulation. OIC-Director Maria Lydia Adviento Echavez welcomed the participants as well as the RPs from ATI-Central Office led by ISO Focal Person Athena Agape Baguisi.
The ISO 9001:2015, is the international standard with specific requisites leading to a quality management system (QMS). This applies to several institutions, regardless of the size or industry. It is a strategic decision for an organization to assist in the improvement of its overall performance and give a sound basis for sustainable development initiatives.
Attended by the employees of the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center X (ATI-RTC X), the event intends to prepare the management and staff of the center to become ISO-certified. The event transpired at the New ATI Function Hall on July 19-20, 2018.
