Brown Bag Session on Root Cause Analysis Conducted

Discussions within the Partnership and Accreditation Section

EL SALVADOR CITY, Misamis Oriental -- In its bid towards an ISO 9001:2015 Certification, the Internal Quality Audit (IQA) Team of ATI-RTC X conducted a Brown Bag Session on Root Cause Analysis. Methods discussed include Process Mapping, The Turtle Diagram and the Fishbone Diagram or the Ishikawa Diagram.
The methods were taught to equip the staff on how to go about doing a root cause analysis for the Request for Action (RAF) that were issued by the IQA Team members after a mock audit that was recently conducted.
The participants were made to undergo a series of Workshops to test their knowledge and mastery of their processes and to identify bottlenecks so that corrective actions may be done. They were grouped according to their Section/ Units.
The session was led by the IQA Team Leader, Noemi Beth Macario together with the members of the team, Ms. Maria Eloisa Akut, Mr. Javier Andalan, Mr. Joshua Mercado and Mr. Japheth Alvarez. Joining the Session is OIC Maria Lydia A. Echavez.
The team regularly engages in Brown Bag sessions to capacitate the staff on various knowledge and skills towards a better performance of the entire workforce.
