Poblacion, El Salvador City --- The Partnership and Accreditation Services (PAS) with OIC-Chief Javier P. Andalan, Agriculturist II Cristine A. Galupo, and Development Management Officer I Jisa T. Dulay conducted recently, an annual monitoring and evaluation of its Private Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Service Provider (PAF-ESP) to ensure the continued compliance of its core function and responsibilities.
The conduct of annual performance monitoring and evaluation to accredited PAF-ESP helps to provide necessary data to guide strategic planning, allocate valuable and efficient use of resources, design and implement programs and projects, and helps identify how challenges should be addressed and successes replicated.
Two of the three accredited PAF-ESPs monitored and evaluated include GreenMinds Incorporated in Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City and Semilya sa Kinabuhi in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon on February 14, 2022. Queensland Herbs and Tourism Farm was accredited in September last year.
ATI taps the services of the external service providers to train members of rural-based organizations, agricultural extension workers and their clientele to promote and accelerate rural development.
ESPs also improve and hasten the delivery of extension services and to provide opportunities and wider participation of the private sector in the conduct of agricultural extension services. (with reports from Development Management Officer I Jisa T. Dulay)
