Forging Ties with the Academe, ATI Grants Scholarship to Five USTsP Students

Claveria, Misamis Oriental---Realizing the importance of empowering deserving students and harnessing the potential of today’s youth, a deliberate support by the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC X) through its Scholarship Program on Continuing Education for the Youth has been granted to five 4th year students of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTsP)-Claveria which transpired on July 24, 2017.

TCS-I Maria Lydia A. Echavez delivered a powerpoint presentation to the scholars regarding their accountability and responsibilities as scholars.

TCS-II Angelito Y. Quirog was present during the event as gesture of his personal support which was followed by a MOA and Scholarship Contract signing for the USTsP scholars.

The students shall receive the following:

Free tution fee and other school fees
Php 5,000.00 monthly allowance
Php 1,500.00 for books and other school need per semester
Php 1,000.00 for lodging per month
Php 5,000.00 for thesis support
Php 3,000.00 for graduation fees

Meanwhile, a separate MOA signing took place also with University Chancellor Proserpina Roxas and Dean Renato Boniao of MSU- Naawan for the Scholarship Program on Continuing Education for the Youth. (with reports from Shiela Marie Anne C. Casabar, Accountant)
