KAPATAGAN, LANAO DEL NORTE---Small farmers and fisherfolks in the Municipality of Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte were given recognition and importance as it celebrated its 68th founding anniversary and 3rd Agri Aqua Livestock Fair. Some highlights of the celebration included the graduation of CSFBS, hand-over of certificates of support from DA-RFO 10 and BFAR-10, recognition of outstanding farmers/fisherfolk, and the best I-FAITH Garden.

Congressman Abdullah Dimaporo graced the occasion and emphasized his support to the efforts of the municipality through Mayor Baguio and its farmers specially in "adding value" and marketing.

A Certificate of Learning Site (LS) was also handed over to the said municipality as ATI accredits Kapatagan Institute of Organic Agriculture as LS.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ronnie Doods Baliton, one of the center's LS operators, received his Plaque of Recognition as Outstanding Farmer for Corn Category.
